Recently, they have come to be used in new ways, making use of their other characteristics, such as reduced environmental load substances, longevity of the charge-discharge cycle and durability in rapid charge-discharge.
Working principles and Applications of SAW/FBAR Devices
In 1855, Surface Acoustic Waves (SAW) were mathematically founded by Lord Rayleigh. In 1965, Inter Digital Transducers (IDT) were invented by White and Voltmer, enabling use of SAW in various filters.
