General Training

Mental health management examination

Mental health measures are being implemented to ensure that a workplace is created in which employees feel able to work safely and happily.
We are expanding our "line care" program for managers and supervisors (to provide mental health guidance to junior employees). Also, as part of a primary prevention policy (to prevent mental illness from occurring and to promote health), we held a course on mental health care management (self-care), leading to a group examination (with over 110 participants).
We hope that through this course each individual was able to learn what he or she could do to reduce stress or cope with other problems that can cause mental illness.

Occupational Health and Safety Training

Course in safe forklift operation

Training is conducted annually to prevent forklift accidents. This course is for persons qualified to operate forklifts. In addition to classroom exercises using a textbook, there are operation exercises where the instructor evaluates students' operation. The students are encouraged to reconfirm the skills needed for safe operation, and this is useful for ensuring safety during work.
At sites located in cold regions, a course is given on how to operate the forklift to remove snow using an attached plow bucket.

This training covers the responsibilities of companies generating industrial waste as stipulated in the Waste Management and Public Cleansing Law, and provides training on the manifest system, training in periodic inspections of processing contractors compliant with in-house standards, and other topics. Based on this training, waste managers will properly carry out waste processing and actively employ the principles of the 3Rs – Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.
