Tamamura Plant Building No. 5

TOKYO, February 17, 2025 - TAIYO YUDEN CO., LTD. completed the construction of Building No. 5 on the premises of the Tamamura Plant, one of its major multilayer ceramic capacitor (MLCC) manufacturing bases in Japan.
The Tamamura Plant serves as the headquarters for the production of the TAIYO YUDEN Group's leading-edge MLCCs. It also has the function of developing products slated for mass manufacture. The new building was constructed to allow the Plant to further enhance its world-class product development capabilities by boosting its MLCC-related technological strength on a medium- to long-term basis.
The new building is ZEB Ready-certified as a building with low environmental impact and is also designed to provide a comfortable indoor environment.
Going forward, TAIYO YUDEN will continue to develop electronic components that support the evolution of electronic devices while also contributing to the development of society by capitalizing on its high technological strength.
