TOKYO, December 18, 2025 - TAIYO YUDEN CO., LTD. has been named among CDP's "Climate Change A List" companies for four years in a row, receiving the highest rating from the international environmental NPO in recognition of its leadership in transparency and performance in the climate change-related field.

In recent years, addressing climate change, including extreme weather events driven by global warming, has emerged as a critical global challenge. In its Medium-term Management Plan 2025, the TAIYO YUDEN Group includes the enhancement of its climate change countermeasures in its materiality, aiming to enhance its corporate value through the combination of economic and social value.
To reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, we have set reduction targets to be achieved by FY2030: 42% (compared to FY2020) for Scope1 and Scope2, and 25% (compared to FY2021) for Scope3 (Categories 1 and 3), which are indirectly emitted in the supply chain. For all of these targets, we have obtained Science Based Targets (SBT) certification.
In recognition of these climate change countermeasures and high transparency in information disclosure as a whole, TAIYO YUDEN was selected for inclusion in CDP's highest rating, the "Climate Change A List" from among about 20,000 companies rated by the NPO.
